【What is M-Cod Liver Oil?】
M-Cod Liver Oil is made exclusively from premium true cod harvested in Wakkanai, Hokkaido. These fish are caught during the harsh winter months, a time when they store the highest levels of nutrients in their livers to prepare for spawning. Only the freshest, most carefully selected livers are used—never those that have lost their freshness. The extraction process is done entirely by hand. Unlike industrial methods that use high heat or solvents to maximize yield, we adhere to time-honored, low-temperature techniques. Each batch is carefully skimmed by hand, producing only a small amount of oil at a time. To retain its natural state as much as possible, we keep refining to a minimum, creating a truly premium cod liver oil.
